Application Note : How to Average 5 Zone Temperatures

Use Case:

75F offers the ability to average 4 zone temperatures with Multi-Sensors, but in some cases a 5th is needed.

**Soon to be tested is using a DPS, Hypersense, and three Multi-Sensors to average 4 zones but have trueCFM available.

Solution:

Instead of wiring 4 Multi-Sensors to a SmartNode, instead what can be done is terminate a Hypersense to the SmartNode via 3 Wire connection, and then daisy chain 4 Multi-Sensors to the Hypersense.

This allows averaging for all zones back to the SmartNode, and if it is not locked out, the Hypersense can be used to locally adjust the setpoint of the space.
