| Introduction
The KV tag feature allows users to add equip/device/schedule/building entity, plot KV tag values for all entities, and update the KV value of string type tags in a summary table. For more information on summary tables refer to Summary Tables.
From the internal Portal,
- Select the Summary Table tab.
- Click Add Summary table.
- Create a New Summary table from the option.
| Selecting and Viewing a KV Tag Value
- Select the Build Type from the Summary Table.
- Type the required query.
- The matching points are displayed.
- Fill in the required particulars for Why and What in the summary table description.
- Search for the required KV tags from the dropdown list.
- Select the KV tags from the dropdown list.
Once the "lastModifiedBy" tag is selected, then the platform from which it is selected is displayed.
- Select the Builder Type option from the selection
- Enter the Summary table option as Zone.
- Select the tags.
- Select the matching points for the tags selected.
- Enter the Why and What description.
- Search and Select the KV tags from the dropdown list.
- Select Enable at Write Level to enable write option for the parameters.
- Click "Create a New Summary Table".
The table is created successfully.
| Editing a KV Tag Value
This provides the option to update string-type KV tags for the values provided in the table.
For example, if user selects "dis" as KV tag then user should be able to update dis for equip/device/schedule/diag/point entity based on site requirement.
Note: Users will only be able to update KV tags that are defined as string type on the summary table.
- Select the check box to view the priority array and edit the parameter value.
- Click to edit the point parameters for the KV tags provided.
The update option is displayed.
- Add the required changes for the parameters on CCU/sites/zones.
- Enter the required values for the parameters.
- Click Update to update the parameters or cancel.
The values have been updated.
| ENUM Mapping
If a point parameter has ENUM type value, the key and values are automatically mapped whenever a user adds a condition.
By default, "No Condition" will be checked for all types of points to simplify the operation of auto mapping of ENUM values.
Note: ENUM values would only appear if the same point consisting same ENUM values is queried.
- Select No Condition to Auto populate the ENUM values.
