| How it Works
The 75F Smart Stat Conventional Package Unit profile allows for control of a Conventional Package Unit.
Cooling Mode - Stage 1 cooling will engage as soon as your current temp rises above your cooling setpoint (CSP). Stage 2 cooling will engage when you breach CSP + Deadband. As Current temperatures come back down Stage 2 will disengage when you drop below your CSP. Stage 1 will disengage when you drop below CSP - Hysteresis value.
Heating Mode - Stage 1 heating will engage as soon as your current temp drops below your heating setpoint (HSP). Stage 2 heating will engage when you breach HSP - Deadband. As Current temperatures come back up Stage 2 will disengage when you rise above your HSP. Stage 1 will disengage when you rise above HSP + Hysteresis value.
Fan Control - Fan control can be configured to meet your requirements. Options include the fan running only during a call for heating or cooling (Auto), the fan constantly on only during Occupied (Fan Occupied Period), or the fan on during both Occupied and Unoccupied (Fan All Times).
The diagrams below show the application of the Deadband and Hysteresis Band and their role:

Once you've paired the Smart Stat as a profile, you will need to select a few specific configuration parameters that define the physical characteristics of your conventional package unit.
| Configuration Parameters
Parameters | Usage/Purpose/Trigger |
Cooling Stage 1 | To enable your Cooling Stage 1 control. |
Cooling Stage 2 | TO enables your Cooling Stage 2 control if equipped. |
Fan Low Speed | To enable fan control. |
Heating Stage 1 | To enable your Heating Stage 1 control. |
Heating Stage 2 | To enable your Heating Stage 2 control if equipped. |
Fan High Speed | To enable High-Speed Fan. |
Airflow Temperature Sensor | Only selects If using an airflow sensor. These are helpful for troubleshooting. |
Enable Occupancy Sensing | Select if you would like to use the Occupancy Setting for setpoint control. |
Use External 10k Temp Sensor | Only select if you are using an external 10k sensor for room temperature detection. This will disable the temperature sensor mounted in the Smart Stat and only use the remote sensor. |
