| User Management

User Management is the method by which you create, remove, and maintain your user store. User management not only establishes a user’s authorization to access secure resources, but also serves as a repository of identities and, if done efficiently, can be the source of all identities for an organization.  

| Types of Users

Organization Managers:

The organization manager is a high-level user with access to all sites under an organization.

These sites are all listed on the Facilisight 'Facility Manager Portal'. The organization manager is a primary facility manager with extended access to all the sites in the organization.

  • There can be only one Organization manager per site
  • Can Add/Edit/Delete Secondary Facility Managers/Occupants for the buildings.
  • Added by the support team after CCU registration.

Note: An organization is created during the CCU registration, and the Organization managers are assigned post creation of an organization.

Primary Facility Managers:

  • There can be only one Primary facility manager per site
  • Can Add/Edit/Delete Secondary Facility Managers/Secondary Installers/Occupants 
  • Responsible for site user management 
  • Added during CCU registration 

These users are assigned specific buildings, and upon logging into the Facilisight portal they see their designated sites listed.

Secondary Facility Managers:

The Secondary Manager has the same functionality as the Primary:

  • Can Add/edit/delete Occupants for the Building
  • Added post CCU registration by either Primary Facility Managers or Organization managers. 

| Accessing User Management

  • Log onto the Facilisight portal. The current version of Facilisight is v16

From the Facilisight home page

  • Click the 'menu' mceclip1.png icon.
  • Click ''User Management'.

The 'User Management' page that will open is displayed below:

You can use this page to add, edit, or delete the Secondary Facility Managers/Occupants for the Building based on whether you have logged in as an Organization Manager/Primary Facility Manager/Secondary Facility Managers. 

| Adding New User

You can add a Secondary Facility Manager, Primary Installer & Secondary Installer based on your role.

From the User Management page:

  • Type in the Email ID or name of the user in the search box. This is an incremental search and will list out any existing matched users.

    If the user does not already exist,

  • Click '+' next to the Add User option.

The following add user window is displayed:

  • Fill out the following fields as part of user management:

Field Name

Description

Email 

Enter the email address of the user.

Note: On changing the email address, you will be immediately logged out. You will need to log back in using the new email address and set a new password using the 6-digit OTP sent to your new email ad dress.

First Name

Enter the first name of the user.

Last Name

Enter the last name of the user.

Country

Select the country.

Select Role

Select a role for the user.

Note: the list displays Occupant, Secondary Installer or VOFM or any of the three that is applicable for the type of user

| User Preference Setting

In order to cater to our clients across the globe, 75F offers users the ability to set the units for their data across all portals and apps.

Note: By default, the user preferences are set as follows:

The following table explains the selections offered within user preferences.

  • Select your preference in the following fields:

Select your preferred unit for Temperature.

Energy Consumption Select your preferred unit for Energy Consumption. kWh, kBTU, tonrefh, GJ
Airflow Volume Select your preferred unit for Airflow Volume.  cfm, m3h, L/min, L/s
Air Pressure Select your preferred unit for the Air Pressure. inH2O, mmH2O, cmH2O, Pa
Water Pressure Select your preferred unit for Water Pressure.  bar, psi kPa
Water Flow Select your preferred unit for Water flow. gal/min, m3h, L/min, L/s
  •  Click Add+.

A message signaling that the user had been added successfully will appear:

| Modifying Existing User

  • Locate the user you want to modify by entering their email ID or name in the 'Search' box. This is an incremental search and will list out any existing matching users.
  • Click the Edit edit.pngicon.

The following Edit screen is displayed:

  • Enter/edit/select all the necessary fields.
  • Click 'Save Edit'.

A message signaling that the user had been updated successfully will appear:

| Deleting Existing User

  • Locate the user you want to delete by entering their email ID or name in the 'Search' box. This is an incremental search and will list out any existing matching users.
  • Click the  Deletedelete.pngicon.

A confirmation window will appear:

  • Click Confirm.

A message stating that the user has been deleted successfully appears. The user is now moved to 'Unassigned Users'

  • Click 'Unassigned Users' and search for the user you just deleted in order to delete the user permanently.
  • Click Delete.

Another confirmation window will appear.

  • Click Confirm.

The user is permanently deleted from the system.

| Adding a View Only Facility Manager (VOFM)

A view-only facility manager can be added in the Facilisight portal to access all data (without any edit privileges) about a specific site so that an end-user can view details about the site made available in Facilisight for making informed site decisions. A VOFM can view system settings, zone settings, heatmap settings and graphs, PAM dashboards, and named schedules while other internal data (tuners) remain private. 

To Add a View Only Facility Manager (VOFM)

  • Click the Menu mceclip1.png icon.
  • Click 'User Management'.

  • Type in the Email ID or name of the user in the search box. This is an incremental search and will list out any existing matched users.

    If the user does not already exist,

  • Click '+' next to the 'Add User' option.

  • Fill in all the fields to accurately reflect the User you are adding.
  • Select 'View Only FM' under the "Select Role" dropdown menu in order to establish the user as a VOFM.

  • Click 'Add+' to add the user as a View Only Facility Manager.

| Accessing the Facilisight Portal as a View-Only Facilisight Manager

  • Login to the Facilisight Portal
  • Verify the Email that was entered when adding the VOFM user.
  • Choose a Password and Sign Up

The user is now entered as a View Only Facility Manager for the site registered.

| Types of Users Summary

Users Added By Roles/ Permissions
Organization Managers Added by support users Manage all the buildings under an organization, have access to all the sites under the organization in facilisight, and pretty much have facility manager level permissions to the sites.
Facility Managers Added during site creation or added by support users, or ownership transferred by a previous facility manager.

Manages a particular building or more than a building, has permissions like

  • Visualize building information in Heatmap.
  • Create and use heatmap filters.
  • Setting schedules,
  • Modifying desired temperatures,
  • Altering the tuner values
  • Altering the floor plan
  • Rearranging a floor plan setting
  • Visualizing historized points data in Site Explorer.
  • Mute and unmute alert notification
  • Create dashboards of widgets for corresponding buildings
  • Alter the conditioning modes for the system profiles.
Primary Installers Added during site creation The installer who does the installation for the building can be used for future corrections or repairs.
Secondary Managers Added by support users or facility managers Pretty much has all the permission like facility managers, but cannot add more secondary managers under.
View Only Facility Managers Added by support users, or facility managers, or secondary managers Able to just visualize the data in the facilisight, will not be able to make any edits to the building aspects.
Occupants Added by facility managers, or secondary managers Able to visualize the zone data and alter the desired temperature for the zones assigned. 
Non-Certified Installer Added by facility managers, or support users

Gets an access close to view only facility manager, can visualize the data in facilisight, will not be able to make any edits to the building aspects.

Certified Installer Level 1 Added by facility managers, or support users

Able to just access and alter aspects in the Facilisight, just like the facility managers

 

Certified Installer Level 2 Added by facility managers, or support users

Able to access the following

Facilisight like the facility manager.
