Repairing Prequisites

| Overview

Repairing is a process of reusing a device to pair with a new profile, which was already paired to a zone for a particular profile.

The user must delete the existing zone to release the device for reuse.

The device released is now available for pairing with another profile.

| Prerequisites for Re-pair

The device that is available for pairing with another profile can have the effects of the previously paired profile.

To avoid the previous profile's data on the device and to use the device for another profile, the device needs to be reset to factory settings.

| Setting the Device to Factory Settings

To set the device to factory settings

From the installer options screen of the device

• Select the Factory Reset option.

This sets the device to factory settings and clears the data and influence of any previously paired profile on the device.

The device is now fresh and ready for a new profile pairing.
