| Overview

The 75F system smart devices uses different types of frequencies to update the data collected to the CCU.

Based on the type of frequency that is used the data update is sent to the CCU at different interval of time.

The 75F defines 2 types of frequency at which the update from the smart device is sent to the CCU and the BMS application they are.

Regular:

It is the default type of frequency that is used in all the smart device, where a changed or unchanged update from the smart devices are updated to the CCU and the BMS application every 40 seconds.

COV (Change of Value):

It is the second type of frequency that can be set, where an unchanged update from the smart devices are updated to the CCU and the BMS application, only every 120 seconds.

Below is an illustration to explain the different update frequency types.

The above Illustration depict three scenarios.

Scenario 1:

In this scenario when the update frequency type is set to 'Regular' and if there is a change in any parameter value within the interval of 40 seconds may be at 32 second or 35 second, The change will get updated into the CCU and the BMS with the update that is sent as a part of the regular frequency type at 40 seconds.

Scenario 2:

In this scenario when the update frequency type is set to 'Regular' and if there is no change in any parameter value within the interval of 40 seconds, and the change occurs at the 69th second, Then the change will get updated into the CCU and the BMS with the 2nd update that is sent as a part of the regular frequency type at 80 seconds.

Scenario 3:

In this scenario when the update frequency type is set to 'COV(Change of Value)' and if there is no change in any parameter value within the interval of 120 seconds. Then the update without any change, with the previously changed value is sent to the CCU and the BMS, with the update that is sent as a part of the COV frequency type at 120 seconds.

Scenario 3:

While the update frequency type is set as COV and a change occurs in the 39th second or 69th second as in the update that follows the scenario 1 and scenario 2.

But in this case since the frequency time limit resets itself after an update and once the update is sent at 40 seconds for the change in 39th second, the time is reset to 0 again, and the second update at 69th second is considered sent at a 40 second update again.

Below is a illustration to explain the above scenario.

The changes in the above scenarios are considered as a change only if the the change in values meet the criterion specified in the below table.

| Setting the Update Frequency Type in Smart Node

From the home UI screen of the Smart Node.

  • Press the right arrow button to navigate to the other screen of the Smart Node.

  • Press the right arrow button from the inputs screen to reach the installer options screen.

  • Press the down arrow button to navigate to the Set Update Frequency option.

  • Press the right arrow button to access the Set Update Frequency option.

  • Press the down arrow button to set the Update frequency type “COV" where an unchanged update from the smart devices are updated to the CCU and the BMS application, only every 120 seconds.

  • Press the Set button to confirm selection

The update frequency changed success message is displayed and the installer options screen is displayed.

| Setting the Update Frequency Type in Helio Node

From the home UI screen of the Helio Node.
