| Overview

The 75F HelioNode has an onboard temperature sensor and includes a one-wire protocol slot that allows additional temperature sensors to be connected. Using the daisy-chain wiring, multiple temperature sensors can be installed on the same bus.

Because of this capability, the HelioNode provides a user interface (UI) that allows users to configure which temperature value should be displayed and communicated to the master controller.

The device can be configured in two ways:

  • It can display and communicate the average temperature of all the sensors connected on the bus, or

  • It can display and communicate only the temperature measured by the onboard sensor.
