| Overview

These checks verify the health of the following airflow sensors:

  • Zone discharge air temp (DAT)
  • Supply air temp (SAT)

| When it passes

A PASS means the CCU's airflow sensor is working correctly and reading within acceptable ranges.

| When it fails

A FAIL means the zone's DAT or SAT sensor was beyond the acceptable temperature ranges. For example, the zone DATs below display invalid readings:

| Common causes

This typically occurs due to one of two reasons:

  1. Bad sensor or wiring: Airflow sensor is disconnected or damaged
  2. Incorrect location: Airflow sensor is incorrectly placed, causing misleading sensor readings

| Next Steps

  1. Verify sensor placement and operation.
  2. Confirm wiring is not excessively long or running close to power lines.
