Using Remote Temp Sensor (10K Thermistor) - Smart Stat

| How it Works

On a Smart Stat, there is an option to Use an External 10k Sensor. This option on a conventional unit or a heat pump can be used to extend your temperature sensor away from the Smart Stat itself. This can also be used if you would like to control the unit based on the RAT rather than the space temp.

| Configuration

All you need to do to enable this option is to toggle the 'Use External 10k Temp Sensor option to on. From here the Stat will stop using it's onboard sensor and use the 10K Type II sensor in its place.
