| Introduction

The Dynamic Airflow Balancing is concept, idea and a profile which was introduced by the 75F, which unlike the other profiles in the system does not use the HVAC domain specific concepts as algorithm, but instead uses a proprietary concept of 75F system in its algorithm. The 75F clearly understands that regardless of any building the HVAC needs of the building is not the same throughout the day, and it   varies from one floor to another and one room to another. With this in mind, the Dynamic Airflow Balancing profile was introduced under 75F BMS umbrella. It uses this aspect of variable load requirement to clearly define its value in terms of comfort and efficiency.

| Principle

Unlike the traditional Variable Volume concepts in use, the Dynamic airflow balancing uses the concept of Variable Temperature.

| How it works

The Dynamic Airflow Balancing (DAB) uses an Intelligent Algorithm. that constantly looks for the change in the difference between the desired and current temperatures and provides the required conditioning via Staged/Modulating HVAC equipment.

| Arrangement

At the AHU or the RTU level the DAB profile uses the CCU along with the CM board and different type of actuators to provide the necessary controls.

At zone level it uses the SmartNode, HelioNode, smart dampers and damper actuators the products of 75F to provide the necessary controls.

| Profiles Supported

At system level the DAB supports four types of Profiles.

  • DAB Staged RTU
  • DAB Staged RTU with VFD
  • DAB Fully Modulation AHU
  • DAB Advanced Hybrid AHU

With the introduction of the concept of zoning, and with module or terminal level controls required.  The DAB also supports Terminal Profile.

  • DAB Terminal profile
  • DAB Dual Duct Terminal profile
