Say it from setting a pin-based lock on its HyperStat to setting password-protected edit rights on the CCU, 75F has it all for all your information and data security needs.
Let us look into the Password setting for various edit rights in the CCU in detail.
| Accessing Password Setting
The password setting for various edit rights in the CCU can be accessed as follows
From the CCU zones screen,
- Click Settings icon.
- Click Settings from the floor layout screen.
- Click Security icon from the settings screen.
The security/password setting screen displays, as below.
| Password Setting Options
The table below explains the password setting options made available for CCU users.
Password Setting Option | Description | Access Restrictions |
Password for Zone Settings Change |
To set a password to restrict the changes to zone settings.

To set a password to restrict the changes to system settings.

To set a password to restrict the changes to the Building. |

- Use the above table to set the passwords for various levels of restrictions as below.
| Security Restrictions
For a restricted zone setting the following is expected as below, when the zones screen is accessed.
- Enter the password to access the zones and zones settings, as below.
For a restricted system setting the following is expected as below, when the zones screen is accessed.
- Enter the password to access the system and system settings, as below.
For restricted Building settings the following is expected as below, when the building screen is accessed.
- Enter the password to access the building settings, as below.
For a restricted setup the following is expected as below, when the floor layout screen is accessed.
- Enter the password to access the setup, as below.
Note: The password restricts access every time the user switches from one screen to another.
And the passwords are case-sensitive.
| Clear Existing/ Set New Password
To clear the set password or set a new password
- Click the corresponding password setting options in the password setting screen.
- Enter the existing and new password.
- Click Clear Existing to clear the password.
The set password is cleared as shown below.
To set a new password
- Click the corresponding password setting options in the password setting screen.
- Enter the existing and new password.
- Click Clear Existing to clear the password.
A new password is for the restriction as shown below.
Note: The system lets you set an already used password for n number fo times.
