| Introduction

The Schedule grouping feature allows users to group days of the week that require similar operations, such as desired temperature, start and stop times, and deadband values. All the days within the respective group will have common start stop times, user limits, deadband and the schedule as a whole will have a common setback.

Schedule management becomes more efficient when days within a group share common start and stop times, user limits, deadbands, and setbacks. When multiple days have identical settings, configuring them individually is cumbersome. Instead, the concept of schedule groups eliminates repetitive tasks and streamlines the process, making schedule creation more straightforward and time efficient.

| Schedule Group Types

The Schedule Groups is classified into 4 Categories. They are as follows:

  • Everyday: The Everyday schedule grouping consists of one set of occupied and unoccupied start/stop times and temperatures defined which will be applicable for all the days of the week. Any edits will affect all the days respectively.

  • Weekday+Weekend: The Weekday+Weekend schedule grouping consists of two schedule groups: one for weekdays (Monday to Friday) and one for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The time and temperature settings will be consistent within each group.

  • Weekday+Saturday+Sunday: The Weekday+Saturday+Sunday schedule grouping consists of three schedule groups: one for weekdays (Monday to Friday), one for Saturday, and one for Sunday. The time and temperature settings will be consistent within each group.

  • 7 Day: The 7-day schedule group consists of a group for all the days of the week where all the existing schedules be it named, or zone will be in this category post this enhancement of adding category or combinations to schedules. The time and temperature settings may be different for each day in the group.

| Migrations and Category Change Over to persist settings

Once the enhancement is complete, all existing zone and named schedules will be migrated to the 7-day category. Any newly paired zone, post the enhancement will have a default schedule with Weekday + Weekend grouping, along with start and stop times set to 08:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

The default temperatures, user limits, and deadbands will remain the same as the current settings. If a zone's grouping is changed to a different category, the default start and stop times, along with the default temperature settings, will apply. Time and temperature settings will not be retained when switching between categories.
