| Introduction
The common framework provides the users with a consistent builder, sharing mechanism, like, bookmark, adding description, and custom arrangement capability for analytics.
A Common Framework is introduced to maintain a consistent design pattern and workflow so as to improve and increase user engagement. This would also help users engage in a standardized sharing mechanism and contribute more frequently to the system.
The Analytics feature includes the existing custom widgets capability which have been enhanced with a common framework featuring calculated parameters with Blockly support for parameter conditions. Also, additional enhancements have been introduced which include dual Y-axis configuration, Y-axis scaling, with minimum/maximum configuration values, enabling users to derive deeper insights and make more informed decisions.
| Types of Analytics
Analytics are categorized into two types depending on visibility. They are as follows:
- Analytics Created by Me
- Analytics shared by others.
Analytics Created by Me
Analytics shared by me are the ones that are created by the signed-in users and shared with other users. This is visible to all Internal and Facilisight users once shared.
Analytics shared by Others
Analytics shared by others are the ones that are created by other users as shared tables. This as well is visible to all Internal and Facilisight users once shared.
Note: Support users have the capability to share analytics to Internal Portal only or both Internal+Facilisight
| Like and Bookmark Capability
The common framework also provides capability to the users to like and bookmark analytics for future reference.
Note: Like option is only available for analytics shared by others. However, a user can bookmark analytics created or shared by others for reference.
| View Capability
The common framework also provides capability to the users to view created analytics shared by others
Note: Users will be able to add a maximum of 20 analytics from Site Overview and 20 analytics from a specific system or zone page
- Click the view icon to view analytics shared by others
The analytics is displayed.
| Search Capability
Users can also search for specific analytics in the table by typing in the name in the search bar.

| Advanced Features
The analytics comes with advanced features to aid the user in making informed decisions on datasets. They are described as follows:
1. Dual Y-Axis Configuration
Users will have the flexibility to configure the Y-axis, selecting from both queried and calculated parameters. By default, the Y-axis will be set to “Left Y-axis,” but users can change this setting to “Right Y-axis” if they prefer.
However, it’s important to note that if any conditions are applied to the parameters, the dual Y-axis configuration will not be available. Once the configuration is applied, only the user who created it will have the authority to modify the settings, ensuring that the configuration remains consistent.
2. Y-Axis Scaling
Users will have the flexibility to scale the Y-axis. The “Axis Options” call-to-action will be available for configuration. Depending on the dual-axis setup, users can scale both the left and right Y-axes. They will also be able to set minimum and maximum values for both the left and right Y-axes.
Additionally, users will have the option to revert to the default auto-scaling by clicking on the revert icon. Once the configuration is applied, only the user who created it will have the authority to modify the settings, ensuring consistency.
