Periodic reboot is a feature introduced as part of the CCU developer tools set. Users can now use this feature to define a periodic interval and a time at which the CCU Tablet can reboot.

A CCU Tablet reboot can:
  • Release memory resources in case of memory leak.
  • Resolve memory fragmentation issue
  • Resolve any Connectivity issues if any. (issues with the Ethernet driver or wireless driver)

| Defining Periodic Reboot Interval

The periodic reboot interval is a predefined setting which is set to an interval of two weeks.

The periodic reboot of the CCU happens every second Monday, from the day the CCU is registered.
