| Overview
The Single Setpoint temperature mode provides a simplified temperature control experience by allowing users to interact with a single temperature setpoint instead of managing separate heating and cooling setpoints. The system automatically calculates and maintains the corresponding Heating Desired Temperature (HDT) and Cooling Desired Temperature (CDT) based on the configured deadbands and user limits.
To support occupant interaction, the user interface displays a Single Setpoint desired value and a corresponding adjustment range. This range represents the allowable temperature range that end users can select from the CCU or Occupant App or supported Edge Devices.

| Configuration
- Navigate to the Zones page and select the desired device. Click the pencil icon next to Zone Schedule. If Zone Schedule is not visible, click the Schedule drop-down and select Zone Schedule.
- The Zone Schedule page opens.
Note: By default, the temperature mode appears as Dual Setpoint Fixed Deadband after migration.
- Click the dropdown and select Single Setpoint.
- Click Save Schedule to save the Single Setpoint temperature mode. Then, click the pencil icon to reopen the Zone Schedule page.
Note: For CCU temperature mode changes, click Save Schedule after each change to save and apply the selected temperature mode.
- Select the desired day category from the available schedule options (Everyday, Weekday + Weekend, Weekday + Saturday + Sunday, or 7 Day) to configure the temperature mode schedule.
- Click the desired day to update the temperature mode schedule.
- Scroll down to view the complete Single Setpoint user interface.
| CCU Single Setpoint Temperature Settings
Single Setpoint temperature settings can be adjusted from the CCU, supported edge devices, and the Occupant App.
Condition 1:

- The Heating User Limits and Cooling User Limits are automatically set based on the predefined building limits and cannot be modified.
- Users can adjust the Single Setpoint value while the system automatically maintains the corresponding heating and cooling desired temperatures based on the configured deadbands. Refer to the formulas below.

When Follow Building's User Limits and Deadbands is enabled, the heating and cooling deadbands are inherited from the building-level configuration and cannot be modified.

Increasing the Cooling Desired Temperature (CDT) to 76°F automatically adjusts the Heating Desired Temperature (HDT) to 72°F to maintain the configured 4°F deadband.
The Single Setpoint value is automatically updated to 74°F based on the configured desired temperatures and deadbands. Refer to the formulas below.

Result:
HDT = 72°F All setpoints move simultaneously. Note: The maximum Cooling Desired Temperature (CDT) is limited to 76°F. In this Single Setpoint mode, the system maintains a fixed deadband relationship between the heating and cooling setpoints. Therefore, when the CDT is set to 76°F, the Heating Desired Temperature (HDT) is automatically adjusted to 72°F to maintain the configured 4°F deadband. The HDT cannot exceed 72°F, as defined by the configured Heating User Limits (67°F to 72°F). |

- The Heating User Limits and Cooling User Limits are prepopulated with the most recently saved user limits. Modify the limits as needed. Refer to the example below.
Adjusting one setpoint automatically updates the other while maintaining the configured deadband.
Note: The heating and cooling deadband can be configured within a range of 0.5°F to 10°F.
