| Overview

The 75F BMS supports a portfolio of products that are used to provide Intelligent building automation in the HVAC space. This portfolio of products also comprises a set of sensors. These sensors sense various parameters in the rooms and supply to the room controllers (Nodes & Stats).

The 75F, in its vision towards energy savings and Occupant comfort stands out in its capability of micro zoning and room-level controls. That being said, 75F added several sensors to the portfolio that would help meet the demands of the vision, providing excellent room-level control and comfort.

Below is the list of sensors of 75F.

Active Sensors

Deprecated Sensors

Ceiling Sensor Wired Multi Sensor 1.0 / OWI Multi Sensor
Differential Pressure Sensor Duct Sensor V1.0
Duct Sensor V2.0 Local Interface Sensor
Flush Mount Sensor HyperSense
Wall Sensor Wireless Wall Sensor
Wireless Door &  Window Sensor
Wireless Multi Sensor
MySense
Wired Multi Sensor 2.0 / Two-wire Multisensor

| MySense

MySense is a trimmed version of MyStat, designed specifically to provide advanced sensing and monitoring capabilities without control functionality. It is used in conjunction with a SmartNode or other room-level controllers that have limited onboard sensing.

MySense is designed to deliver accurate and reliable environmental measurements, reporting real-time sensor values to the SmartNode to help maintain optimal conditions for occupant comfort. In addition to sensing, MySense enables users to adjust the temperature of the zone in which it is installed, aligning system behaviour with occupant intent.

| Wired Multi Sensor 2.0  / Two Wire Multi Sensor

The Two-Wire Multi Sensor functions similarly to the Wired Multi Sensor, providing monitoring for temperature, humidity, CO₂ for indoor air quality (IAQ), and occupancy to support comfort control and energy-efficient building operation. The key difference lies in the communication and wiring method where the Two-Wire Multi Sensor uses a two-wire connection instead of a single-wire interface for integration with the SmartNode system. This design simplifies wiring while maintaining the same sensing capabilities and performance as the standard Wired Multi Sensor, making it suitable for installations that require a two-wire communication setup.

| Wired Multi Sensor 1.0  / OWI Multi Sensor - Deprecated

The Multi Sensor enhances the SmartNode by enabling full Title 24 compliance while monitoring temperature, humidity, CO₂ for indoor air quality (IAQ), and occupancy to support comfort and energy-efficient building control.

It also serves as a platform to test newer CO₂ sensing technologies and advanced occupancy detection methods. Positioned between the HyperSense (which includes a local interface) and a basic wall sensor, the Multi Sensor provides additional capabilities such as CO₂ and occupancy detection while maintaining a smaller form factor and lower cost than HyperSense. For flexible deployment, up to four Multi Sensors can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration using a specially designed wire adaptor.

| Wireless Door & Window Sensor

The 75F wireless Door & Window Sensor is a magnetic sensor that features an ultra-low power chipset from the nRF52 series and BLE 5.0 technology.

For more information on the door or window sensor refer to Wireless Door and Window Sensor

| Wireless Multi Sensor

The Wireless Multi Sensor revolutionizes the installation process by eliminating the need for expensive, plenum-rated cabling and significantly reducing installation labor. Traditional wired wall-mounted sensors often require wire runs of up to 100 feet, making them costly and complex to install. The Wireless Multi-Sensor addresses this challenge head-on.

This sensor is designed to meet modern needs beyond just monitoring temperature and humidity. It also detects occupancy, ensuring comfort where it’s needed most, while optimizing power savings through its diverse range of sensor inputs. With a battery life exceeding five years, it is built to last in large spaces without the need for constant maintenance.

| Differential Pressure Sensor

The Differential Pressure (DP) Sensor expands the sensing capabilities of 75F controllers by enabling applications such as flow sensing in VAV boxes and filter performance monitoring in AHUs. Its compact and rugged design allows flexible mounting on the sides of VAV boxes, hard supports, or rafters.

The sensor connects directly to 75F controllers through the SmartNode sensor bus using a 3-core Molex connector for power and communication, ensuring seamless, out-of-the-box integration with the Facilisight suite of applications

Designed for easy installation, it features large cutouts for convenient handling even with gloves and differential pressure ports compatible with both 4 mm and 1/4-inch tubing via an adapter, helping reduce installation and commissioning time.

| Duct Sensor V1.0- Deprecated

The Intelligent-Duct temperature and humidity Sensor (DTH) adds a high-precision temperature and humidity sensor that is pre-calibrated from the factory. The DTH is easily mounted on an RTU duct by self-drilling screws.

The DTH uses a proprietary 1-wire protocol to communicate with a master device such as a SmartNode- OAO.

| Need for Different Sensor

All rooms experience different parameters (Temperature, Humidity, Light Intensity, CO2, and Occupancy), and 75F realized that to monitor these specific parameters we would need multiple types of sensors. These sensors can be installed in particular places within a room to help attain better values and control the space more efficiently.

| Need for Advanced Sensor with Similar Capabilities

75F's older sensors that were a part of the original 75F suite of building automation solved just one or two particular use cases within a room, allowing there to be some missed-out use cases. To help solve those missed-out use cases, 75F introduced new features in the advanced versions of our sensors.
