| How does it work ?

Humidifier

The humidifier is turned on whenever the humidity level for the system drops below the targetMinInsideHumidty set in the systems page. The humidifier will be turned off after being turned on when humidity goes humidityHysteresis above the targetMinInsideHumidty. Humidity control will not be maintained during UNOCCUPIED or VACATION modes.

Dehumidifier

If the dehumidifier is selected, then it is turned on whenever the humidity level for the system goes above the targetMaxInsideHumidty  set in the systems page. The dehumidifier will be turned off after being turned on when humidity drops humidityHysteresis below the targetMaxInsideHumidty  Humidity control will not be maintained during UNOCCUPIED or VACATION modes.

 

Note: The humidity level for the system is either the average level reported by the all the zones serviced by this RTU or it is the humidity level reported by the 'Proxy Zone for humidity level'  which uses a single zone . 

| Wiring 

The CCU has the option to control a humidifier/dehumidifier through a set of dry relay contacts on Relay 7 (Default) or map any of the other relays 1 thru 6 for humidifier/dehumidifier control. 

Follow the connection pictorial diagram below. 

To make the Auxiliary 1 (Relay 7) a dry contact you must remove the jumper at J21 on the CM board.

| Configuration

In Settings > System Profile you will need to toggle the switch ''ON'' to the left of  Relay 7 or any relay  you would like to use (1-6) for Humidifier/Dehumidifier control.  You will use the drop down to the right of each relay under mapping to select humidifier/dehumidifier mapping for that particular relay.
